Project Description

The construction of a 4-level office building of approximately 21,000 square feet attached to a 1 level manufacturing building occupying approximately 27,000 square feet and a multi-level garage.

Scope of Work

Contracted to perform drilling and blasting services for a new building and multi level garage in Waltham, MA.  Work included drilling and blasting over 47,000 cubic yards of open and trench rock.  Constraints included working within lower than state standard limits on PPV levels due to 2 major gas supply lines nearby.  Also, line drilling adjacent to garage perimeter to mitigate vibration influence on nearby gas lines.
